Ugh…. i don’t want to do this…. but….
I didn’t like it…. at all…. not even a little… i know it’s blasphemy to say something that the GODFATHER of manga created wasn’t good…..
but this really…. wasn’t to my personal taste….

mainly cause of the ending…. it was just a slap in the face…. the character grows and STILL is punished for his actions… i’m sorry but the entire time were meant to believe that he’s living these other lives…. but he’s not… he’s either unconscious or under hypnosis… the main line never really dies… and then yeah…..

Also Oh my God is it preachy. “humans polluted the earth to the point they killed themselves!” or “don’t kill the animals… we can live in harmony…. except fish…. screw the fish!” i just felt like i was being lectured the entire two volumes….

oh well… i know tezuka’s got some amazing stuff…. i love his version of metropolis (again in hindsight…. fairly preachy) But this….. this was just upsetting for how much i didn’t like it…. oh well.. had to read it for class….
